Memories of Sudan:

• Village: Turalei , Twic County South Sudan
• Age Left Sudan: 11 years old
• My beautiful homeland South Sudan
• Raising and keeping cattle
• Commodities i.e. we grow our own food crops. No more trip to grocery on weekly basis
• Simple lifestyle, no major bills to pay. No harassment phone calls because of the late payment and bad credit
• Dancing and beating the drum. Dance either as an individual or a group of participants
• Hunting and fishing, no license is required for these activities. Free of charges
• Of course, I am missing my parents and other sibling since the war separated us in 1987
• Last but not the least, missing the way I used to milk the cow

Impression of United States of America:

• I was frightened by the snow. I saw the snow for the first time in my life
• It is unusual to see a parking lot with a lot of cars. It reminds me about the cattle camp when the herdsmen driven theirs cattle for watered and pastures
• A huge crowd of people moving in and out at the airport, carrying or pulling the cart full of baggage
• Transportation was complicated i.e. Many cars, buses, and rapids as well as tall buildings'
• I did not like America food because it is mostly consist of fast food
• I was afraid not to talk Americans people because of my accent or they might laugh at me

Goals:

In any society, people have a dream and I am not an exceptional. So here are a few of my future dreams:

• To complete my education

• To lived a better life here in America
• To help those who needs my help
• I also have a plan to go to Africa
• To marry a wife who can cook for me since I don’t how to cook myself
• Hopefully to raised my family and own a placed
